لانقاذ بنك الجينات الزراعية في ودمدني خبراء يوجهون نداء عاجلا للمجموعة الاستشارية للبحوث الزراعية الدولية، ومنظمة سيدا، ومنظمة الأغذية والزراعة، وصندوق المحاصيل، والاتحاد الأفريقي، لحشد جهودها لإنقاذ جينات البذور التي لا تقدر بثمن في مدينة ودمدني بولاية الجزيرة السودان والذي أصبح الآن معرضاً لخطر التدمير بسبب الصراع والفوضى التي تهدد بإلحاق ضرر دائم بالبذور التي تمثل قيمة حيوية للأمن الغذائي الوطني والعالمي.

“To save the Agricultural Gene Bank in Wad Medani, experts urgently appeal to the International Advisory Group for Agricultural Research, SIDA organization, Food and Agriculture Organization, Crop Trust, and the African Union to mobilize efforts to rescue the invaluable seed heritage in Wad Medani, Jazeera State, Sudan. This seed bank is now at risk of destruction due to the conflict and chaos, posing a permanent threat to priceless seeds crucial for national and global food security.”
