وجد اختيار الفنان ندي القلعة للغناء في حفل توقيع اتفاق السلام في جوبا يوم الاثنين تباين للآراء فمنهم رفض الاختيار مؤكدا ان ندي القلعة لم يكن لها دور في الثورة وكانت تحسب للنظام البائد مؤكدين ان هناك كثير من الفنانين الذي عارضوا الانقاذ وكان لهم دور في الثورة امثال ابو عركي البخيت وعقد الجلاد وغيرهم في المقابل قال المؤيدين ان ندي القلعة فنانة قومية ومعرفه لكل السودان قبل وبعد الانفصال ودعوا الي ضرورة ابعاد السياسة عن الفن
